Karen was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, her biggest dream has always been to create stories. With over thirty years as an administrator for Fortune 500 companies, Karen has also spent the last two decades writing, directing, and producing theatrical plays during her spare time. She has mesmerized audiences and has established an outstanding reputation for writing quality entertainment to sold-out audiences. With massive support from her fans, Karen decided to turn one of her stage plays, Ladies Night Unmasked, into a novel and share it with the world. She has also written a self-help book for women, Check Your Assets & Know Your Value – A Woman’s Guide to Becoming Her Authentic Self. You will enjoy her unique content, and she will inspire you to achieve great things as well.

Karen is a certified Life Coach based in Illinois. Her holistic approach brings clarity, direction, and positive support to her clients. Through careful guidance and support, she assists her clients in transforming their lives positively. The goal is to prepare her clients as they transition to living their best lives by filling the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. As a result, clients reach their highest goals and dreams by identifying desired growth, setting goals and objectives, and holding accountability. Karen's non-judgmental approach, attentive listening, and strategic thinking allow her clients to become knowledgeable of who they are and what they want to do, connect with the things they're most passionate about, and guide them through answering their questions. Karen also works alongside her husband Gammon in the family's asphalt business, which serves the Chicagoland area with residential and commercial asphalt projects.
When not creating, writing, or coaching, Karen nurtures and nourishes her most fulfilling roles as wife, mother, and grandmother. She believes that spending quality time with family is a significant part of having a successful and fulfilling life. She cherishes the time shared with her loving husband, three awesome children, and three amazing grandchildren.
