As the founder and host of Women Are Rising and Unmasking Their Stories (WAR), I have gathered a panel of remarkable guests in the past four years who have shared testimonials about overcoming traumatic experiences and challenges. Diverse women of all backgrounds have transformed their lives to become the phenomenal individuals they are today. Our panelists and guests were vulnerable, transparent, and dynamic in their storytelling. What's more, each event sparked unexpected discussions, as some attendees volunteered to share their own experiences, making the journey even more engaging. Overall, it has been an impactful and enlightening journey that none of us will forget.

Five girlfriends get together for a night of fun, excitement, and sisterhood. As the night unfolds, it becomes evident that all of the ladies have personal secrets and struggles that they have never shared with anyone until tonight, that is. So cue the dramatic music and have popcorn at the ready!
There is a question posed to the characters in this story that each reader should answer for themselves. The answer may be surprising.

Recession Proof
A family of three generations struggles with the stress brought about by the 2008 economic decline. The grandparents and matriarchs of the family take the audience through a history lesson about the survival of the great depression, stresses of life, and perseverance to help them understand that family is the only thing that is recession-proof when united. It is a hilarious, entertaining, and emotional story that will have you up dancing, laughing, and crying simultaneously.
